On 10th August 2007 ARCADIS NV, through its UK operation AYH, acquired the APS Group of companies, including 70% interest in APS Gulf as part of their ongoing programme of worldwide expansion.

Eric Wallace, the APS Chairman, said “this is an excellent business opportunity for the APS Group to expand its business worldwide. Furthermore, it is very much business as usual, with APS trading as before under the same trading names, management teams and boards of directors that currently exist. We now have the inevitable additional benefits from our new association with ARCADIS Worldwide Project Consulting (AwwPC), an organisation with over 10,000 employees.”
