On 5th June 2000 it changed its name to APS Project Management. Arnold Project Services was formed in 1987 and in 1990 was acquired by Kumagai Gumi. In 1998 it underwent a management buy out. These two leading project management companies came together in 1998 and in May 2000 consolidated their combined activities to form one of the UK's largest specialist project management companies.
